Expert on Composite/Aluminium Airframe Repair
EASA Part 145

Based in Paris, France

Reporting to our Customer Support Engineering department you will be supervising a small team in charge of developing repair solutions on composite as well as on metal-based aerostructures. Main responsibilities of this role include : enhancing and simplifying our repair technical reference manual, rolling out our own repair standards across our worldwide network of technical representatives and repair stations, ensuring they are up to the desired technical proficiency, challenging prevailing repair standards, working closely with our Technical dpt on airworthiness issues. You will also be on the frontline when it comes to take on maintenance contracts on behalf of major airframes design organisations. You will be regularly travelling across the country and occasionally abroad.

A graduate in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, with a focus on airframes and/or composite materials, you have ideally at least 10 years' experience within the Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul sector, at a senior expert or management level. You are able to handle all kinds of airframe maintenance situations, whether airframes need be re-designed, modified or repaired. You are able to perform structural calculations, supervise the design of repair techniques and/or repair approval process on primary as well as on secondary-type parts. You are fully familiar with EASA 145 et 21 requirements, related means of compliance, airframe repair justification and design certification.
