Airframe Repair Engineering
EASA Part 145

Based in Normandy (200 kms/125 miles west of Paris), France

Responsibilities : reporting to our Customer Services Engineering Director, you will be driving a small team focusing on repair solutions on composite as well as on metal-based aerostructures. As a senior project manager you will enhance and simplify our repair technical reference manual whilst challenging prevailing repair standards, roll out our own standards across our worldwide clients (aircraft makers, airlines, MROs and own network of repair stations), ensuring they are up to the desired technical proficiency. You will have a close cooperation with our technical dpt on airworthiness issues. You will also be on the frontline when it comes to take on maintenance contracts on behalf of major airframe design organisations. You will be regularly travelling across France and occasionally abroad (USA, Middle East).

Requirements : a graduate in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with a focus on airframes and/or composite materials, you have at least 15 years' experience within the Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul sector at a senior expert or management level. You are able to handle all kinds of airframe maintenance situations, whether airframes need be re-designed, modified or repaired. Once able to perform structural calculations, supervise the development of repair techniques, handle repair approval processes on primary as well as on secondary-type parts, you may have shifted in your career from operations to support. You are fully familiar with EASA 145 et 21 requirements, related means of compliance, airframe repair justification and design certification.
